Accomplishments :)

So Proud of this girlie. She has an AMAZING vocabulary and speaks in short sentences. Some of the words/phrases she uses are "That's amazing" , I'm Princess Faith, OOOHH I'm SO Excited!!!, Pray for Nannie feel better..., So Beautiful. And Her New Phrase- I have to go potty SO BAD. Speaking of which potty training is in full swing and she's been pooping on the potty for a few days, now we just have to get the peeing on the potty figured out! But I am So Excited for her and Proud of her Extensive Vocabulary! Not so keen on the fact that she climbs out of her bed every morning now around 5:30 am and comes into the family room and wakes her baby brother up though .. Ugh, it's rough!  

It's Official

I debated on whether to share these photos because the last thing I want to do is cause pain and hurt to the readers reading this, but I decided to post because I want you to see how beautiful Faith was and how happy she was this on this day.  She likes to refer to herself as Princess Faith because I like to call her my princess.  It seemed appropriate to have her BE a princess on her Adoption Day so I got her a fancy dress and purse, a real tiara, silver sparkle shoes, and had a pearl necklace and bracelet made for her (the bracelet has her name engraved on a heart)  She got to be REAL Princess Faith and she was so excited about it she could hardly sit still (see those hands in the first photo?  :)  She was overflowing with joy for sure! :)  It was a Wonderful Day, One hopefully she will remember with happiness and one I will never ever forget and will treasure always.  Thank you again for this precious gift...

 

Going back a day....

The Day before Adoption Day Bob took off of work so we could spend two days celebrating Faith's Extra Special Day.  We spent the late morning/ early afternoon at Chuck E Cheese.  Faith loved playing the games and riding the rides (although she liked the rides a bit more :) )  She wasn't a fan of chuck e cheese though- She didn't cry but there was NO WAY she was giving him a high five or hug lol!  :)  And she enjoyed her personal pan pizza and soda since mama doesn't let her have soda that often :)  She is still talking about going to chuck e cheese days later so I think she had a pretty good time :)

Welcome to Following Faith Forever. By the time you are reading this, Faith is Officially Adopted and You are most likely are a Very Special Part of her Story.. You have such an important place in this beginning Chapter of Faith's life and I cannot thank you enough for allowing us the miracle of loving and raising this beautiful baby girl as our daughter.  She is the biggest blessing to our family and I will forever be indebted to you for allowing her to be our sweet child. Thank you with All of my Heart.  I hope that you are blessed through this blog as you read about the things we do and the life we have together as a family and as you watch Faith blossom and Grow into the Beautiful, Strong, Capable Young Woman that I know she will become.  I will do my best to update it as I can with the extra special things that we do and photos as Faith Grows. And Please always know that you are held with the deepest respect and regard and we appreciate you so very much.  You have made our family so very happy, Thank you for sharing her with us and allowing us the honor of making her our Forever Daughter.
